Upper and Lower Eyelid (Blepharoplasty), Ptosis Repair Patient 30
Oasis Eye Face and Skin | Ashland, Medford, Grants Pass, Oregon
This 70-year-old man was having difficulty reading because of droopy upper eyelids that were blocking his vision. He saw Dr. Schiedler for an upper eyelid ptosis consultation and wanted both the droopy upper eyelids and bags under his eyes fixed.
To his wishes, Dr. Schiedler performed upper lid ptosis repair and blepharoplasty. This surgery was done to tighten the detached upper eyelid muscles, and remove some heavy folds of skin and fat pads above his eyes. Dr. Schiedler also recommended lower lid blepharoplasty to reshape and recontour the lower lids. He was very happy with his final result as it brightened his entire face and gave him a vibrant, natural look, restoring his facial appearance to how he felt inside. He was also pleased with being able to read without struggle or eye fatigue.
