This 70-year-old woman came to see Dr. Schiedler about her lower eyelid bags. Her husband was very supportive of her desire because this really bothered the patient. She felt it made her look tired and older than her actual age. In efforts to help her, Dr. Schiedler performed lower eyelid blepharoplasty to remove excessive fat pads and some of the skin folds. The patient was thrilled with her results and felt more confident with her improved appearance.
